Information - Student Leadership
At Craigieburn South Primary School we believe it is important for students to articulate their needs and become involved in the decision making process which leads to change in our school culture. Student voice allows students to share who they are, what they believe in, and why they believe what they do. It enables students to feel more valued by allowing them to become partners in school improvement and in the decision making process.
Our Student Leadership comprises of
House Captains – comprises of Year 6 students (two Captains for each House team);
Hothlyn, Langdon, Northleigh and Bridgewater
Class Captains comprises of two Year 5 students from each grade
Our student leaders run whole school assemblies, attend weekly meetings to discuss fundraising initiatives and projects which help to educate our students about school improvement and community issues. They also support our students as peer mediators.
